How to have fun at big brother's baseball game, when you don't really like to sit still and watch the game ...

I did actually take pictures of the game too,
see I got one of Gus scoring and one of him at bat:

I think they were watching from heaven for a while:

I Heart Faces - Week 25 "Celebrating Teens"

This week at I ♥ Faces their theme is "Celebrating Teens". Ten years ago I took a picture very similar to the one I'm posting today, two girls best of friends and their little brothers hanging out on a swing set in the back yard ... but there were no teenagers in that photo 10 years ago. But today ... well, today they look so grown up that this mama might have to cry

Why do they grow up so quickly?
Why does ten years from now seem so far away?
But ten years ago seems just like yesterday?

If you would like to see that picture from 10 years ago click here

That was then ... This is today

That was then (10 years ago)

This is today

Mikayla and Nadia met on Mikayla's 4th birthday (also thier first day of preschool) ... Two years of preschool together and they've best of friends since. Their younger brothers have benefited from this friend ship too. In my mind these kids are still the little ones ... but they are growin' up!
