I know next to nothing about football. But my parents have 4 season tickets in the new U of M stadium and my dad is a big fan (he graduated from the U of M in 1973 I think. My dad being out of town, my mom decided we should have a girls day ... complete with tailgating & mimosas ...mmmm

September Birthday Dinner

To celebrate Mikayla, Gus and Zeke's September Bdays we went out to eat tonight at a Japanese Steakhouse. What a wonderful treat! Kids tried sushi and edemame!

Twas a beautiful retirment service this morning and we truly enjoyed spending time with old friends!

An early bday gift

A million thank-yous to my parents, as they blessed me with an early bday gift. They payed for Allen and I to stay a lovely B&B while we are visiting Kingsland and St Mary's Georgia this weekend. We came to help a dear friend celebrate his retirement from the NAVY, but we plan to enjoy a little get away as well.

These are pictures from our 2 hour layover ... who knew 2 extra hours in an airport could be so enjoyable! I guess I'm usually chasing kiddos and can't remember the last time we traveled without kiddos is tow. I admit we miss them a bit but we are enjoying out time, just the two of us.

Life is busy here ...

Probably won't hear alot from us this fall as I feel stretched to my limits these days keeping up with kiddos and all that needs to be done. Not complaining ... I love my crazy chaotic life as a mom of five! Just saying blogging is going to have to take a back seat for the fall season. I will try to continue to post some fun pictures of life as we know it.

Happy Birthday to our sweet Rosebud!

This sweet girl has been such a blessing to our lives!!! We are ever so proud of her and her sweet attitude and kind loving heart. She plays beautiful music on her harp and just naturaly loves the horses she works with. She shares love and smiles with friends, family and anyone she meets. She has been blessed to take part in some summer mission trips with Teen Serve and she truly has a servants heart.

Introducing ...

It recently came to my attention that we posted a picture of the boys first day of school and there were doggies in the picture that we have not yet introduced to everyone. So, allow me to introduce you to:



Daisy Lyn (with pink leash) and Charlie (with blue leash) our new Shih Tzu/Poodle mix dogs. We adopted them from a shelter in August.
