What fun it looks like was had by all! We had family photographs done recently, and I thought to have a portrait of all of us on the stairs. It is neat to see yours.
I'm Heather and he is Allen, high school sweethearts. The Lord blessed us with young love and a vision of raising a family that glorifies Christ. We fell in love half a lifetime ago (yes it literally was half my life ago). I feel so blessed to have spent half my life with my beloved and to be raising our children together.
Rosebud
Rosebud is our first born and full of creativity. She is an author, musician and equestrian. A very self-motivated homeschool student with a beautiful heart for the LORD
Gus-Gus
Gus-Gus rocks our world with his energy and humor. He loves gymnastics, baseball, hunting and any excuse to take anything apart.
"O" (aka Daddy's Shadow)
The day O was born we knew he was an old soul ... he sees things from such a different perspective and feels things very deeply. He is sensitive and caring and has an incredible love for the outdoors. He'd love to spend all day with animals or building forts out in the woods. He also longs to be right in his daddy's shadow.
"Z-Man" (aka Gus's shadow)
Z is a real blessing in our life. He keeps us laughing with the things he says. He was very ill as a young toddler, after many tests and a dozen doctors he was diagnosed with Mastocytosis. Now that he is on meds he is a happy, hillarious, boy who loves anything on wheels and anything Star Wars. And he adores his big brothers, especially loves to follow Gus-Gus everywhere he goes
Princess
Our little Princess has blessed us all. She is a funny mix of girly-girl and tomboy. Loves shoes and purses and baby dolls, but equally treasures her cars and lightsabers and brothers. She is very independent and assumes she can do anything anyone else can do.
Baby Kai
Baby Kai joined our family May 15th 2012 and blesses our family everyday with his smiles and coos. I sometimes wonder if he will ever learn to crawl or walk, as there is always a line up of siblings to hold and cuddle him ... but what a wonderful way to grow up!
It happens so quick! One day they are born, so tiny and new ... we are priviledged to watch as they learn and they grow ... and one day we'll watch as they take flight all on their own. Its beautiful really, but it happens so quick. We want to cherish and remember and never forget the blessings we are living today. Some journal, some scrapbook, and some of us blog ... its all about cherishing the memories God gives us today.
Our family began taking photos of our baby girl everyday in 2008, hoping to watch and see as she grows. Being our 5th child we were worried we might miss something. Then we relized that if we put them all on a blog, our friends and family could watch her grow, too.
We did get a picture almost everyday for her first year. Enjoy her photos and stories here:
